A showhome launch is always an exciting time, says Alison Page

Right now we are all busy preparing for the opening of our new showhome atRoundHousePark, in Cringleford.

Although the development is already proving popular, the launch of the showhome is always an exciting time, enabling potential residents to step inside the space and really imagine themselves living there.

But, for us, it is just one of many milestones – albeit a hugely important one. Long before the front door is opened, hours and weeks and months of work have gone into planning and organising, to ensure this property completely illustrates our vision for the development.

People often praise the showhome’s décor, the furnishings and lighting, asking where we found such treasures. And, of course, creating that ‘wow factor’ is one of the most rewarding aspects of our jobs here at Persimmon Homes.

However, this relies on a wide range of people to make the dream come to life.

Persimmon’s land buyers and planning teams draw on the company’s 40 years of experience to place the right properties in the right locations; homes where people want to live. They work with the local community, councils and environmental experts to deliver houses that complement their surroundings.

Our award-winning construction teams turn the plans into reality, quite literally laying the foundations for the lives of future homeowners.

Our chosen interior designer will create a showhome that reflects the type of person we think will want to live at that development. Every aspect of the property will have been carefully considered – from which house type is chosen to represent the site, to colours and those all-important finishing touches.

After the showhome has done its job, and all the properties have been turned from empty buildings to happy homes, the person who buys the showhome itself will often have the option of buying those furnishings and trimmings.

So, when theRoundHouseParkshow home opens in a few short weeks, someone really will be able to picture themselves at home there.
