The local property market continues to show steady signs of growth and improvement

This week we have seen a particular focus and improved demand for four bedroom detached homes situated within the Old Town of Stevenage, Chells Manor and Great Ashby.

Buyers seem to be concentrating on securing a purchase before the inevitable seasonal slow down.  With the Christmas season fast approaching, many potential sellers wrongly wait until the New Year to market their property. With the current high level of demand, the prudent seller stands a chance of their property gaining maximum exposure without the normal levels of competition that they might otherwise experience in the New Year.

It goes without saying that if you are considering moving up the property ladder today’s market condition could very well work in your favour and with interest rates remaining at 0.5% for the eighth month in a row it looks like to current lower mortgage repayments are here to stay, certainly for the time being. So if your considering selling there is a very good chance you could be one of the ever increasing number of people whose dreams of moving turn into reality in 2010.

Good luck!
