A major new and exciting Channel 4 series is offering YOU a life changing opportunity to live in an idyllic village and compete to win the villagers votes resulting in a mortgage free life. The series will follow the participants who will relocate to a village for a week and sample their potential new life and home. Collectively and individually they will get involved in village life, meeting the locals and demonstrating to them why they should be accepted into the community.

We are currently casting for the participants to take part in the series. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to live amongst a village and genuinely able to up sticks and support themselves in their new life. As the local residents have the deciding vote on who wins the home and moves into their village it is important that the participants feel they have something to offer the community whatever skill/trade/talent that may be and are confident to showcase that to the villagers.

With the prize being a family home and a mortgage free life we want to extend this opportunity to first time buyers who are not on the property ladder, or have been renting and perhaps feel it is an unachievable dream. The filming schedule currently stands that participants need to be available for 1 week at some point during July and August 2010 therefore anyone interested would need to be free at this time and as mentioned realistically be able to relocate and start a new life in the New Year.
